Board of ed. to hold called exec session
The Vance County Board of Education will hold a called meeting on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. in the Administrative Services Center, 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina. The purpose of the meeting is to hold an executive session.

Henderson Mayor Pete O’Geary has called a special meeting of the Henderson City Council for the purpose of discussing joint programs. Perhaps the General Assembly could make it a goal to modernize the Veterans’ Day observance in North Carolina so that it falls on a Friday or a Monday. County HR committee meets today at 3:00 p.m.
The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Human Resources Committee will meet today, Monday, November 8, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. to discuss health insurance.
