The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Planning & Environmental Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday, September 2 at 3:00 p.m. in the office of County Manager Jerry Ayscue to review requests for quotes (RFQs) for the US #1 Sewer Project. The County Manager’s office is located in the County Administration Building, 122 Young Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Technology Committee will meet today, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Room, 122 Young Street in Henderson, North Carolina. According to County Clerk Kelly Grissom, this meeting was scheduled during last month’s meeting. No agenda for the meeting was provided.

Special Olympics 220 Seafood fundraiser today
Vance County Special Olympics will be hosting a 220 Seafood Fundraiser today, Monday, August 30, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Eat-in or take-out is $6 per plate. Please come out and support Vance County’s special athletes!
