Golden LEAF meeting tonight at VGCC

This project will be discussed tonight as a possible recipient of funds that the Golden LEAF Foundation intends to bring to Vance County. The Golden LEAF Foundation will be holding a forum tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the Vance-Granville Community College’s Civic Center.

Breaking news: Gupton and Wilkerson file for council
Former Henderson City Council members Bobby Gupton and Ranger Wilkerson filed just minutes ago for the Henderson City Council. Gupton will be running for the Ward 2 At Large seat, opposing Mike Inscoe, who has already filed. Wilkerson has filed to run for the Ward 4 At Large seat. That seat is currently held by George Daye, who has not filed for re-election as of the posting of this article.
