County HR committee meets Monday
The Vance County Board of Commissioners’ Human Resources Committee will meet on Monday, July 6, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. No location or agenda for the meeting was provided. Meetings of this type are usually held in the conference room of County Manager Jerry Ayscue’s office. His office is located in the County Administration Building (old courthouse) at 122 Young Street in Henderson, North Carolina.

Yesterday, June 30, 2009, the Henderson Fire Department used its snorkel truck to install Plexiglas covers over the windows of Henderson’s landmark clock tower. Home in Henderson was there to capture the process in pictures.
