We’re wondering if a four day workweek for everyone would help to ease the fuel crisis. What are your thoughts?
Monday’s open line
We’re fascinated by the idea of a peanut-free school. We’re also wondering if we can throw in wheat gluten, milk/lactose, bee/wasp stings, citrus, penicillin, tomatoes, and shellfish. Also, if we could make the school kosher, halal, and vegan, that would probably save some time as well. We could all munch rice cakes and drink soy milk in the cafeteria and lose a lot of weight.

City/County blood drive

Friends: In 2005 Jeld-Wen windows and doors began a lighthouse restoration initiative by taking nominations of towers that needed new windows and doors.

FAIR Committee to discuss budget Friday
The Finance and Intergovernmental Relations (FAIR) Committee will meet Friday, June 20, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in council chambers in city hall. Discussion will center on the budget for fiscal year 2008-2009.
