The Boys & Girls Club of North Central North Carolina recently developed a Web site to let the community know about goings-on past, present, and future at the Club. I didn’t have the stamina to write about it last night, but yesterday’s meeting of the Vance County Board of Commissioners raised some serious questions as Vance residents shared their points of view regarding dog hunting last night. Council ride-around set for today
Henderson City Council member Ranger Wilkerson, who chairs the Public Works Committee, has set a meeting for this morning at 10:00 a.m. Agenda items include various Public Works matters as well as a Council ride-around.
Two County committees meet today
The Vance County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Committee will meet today at 12:00 p.m. in the conference room of County Manager Jerry Ayscue. The County’s Human Resources Committee is tentatively scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m.

Vance American Red Cross celebrates 90th
