Wednesday, Governor Perdue attended the N.C. If you missed the Trick or Treating event last night, we’ve got some pictures for you.  At the Dataforge headquarters, we had hundreds of kids, I’d guess between 1 to 2 thousand kids, I don’t even know how many people came through but we gave away about 2000 pieces of candy.  It was a steady stream of people for an hour and a half.  We tried to give only one piece per kid, because we knew, and they did, that …

This week, President Obama has been taking initiatives to go around the passage of the American Jobs Act and introduce specific actions to help spur the economy.  It will allow borrowers to cap their student loan payments at 10% of discretionary income.  In the 2010 State of the Union, the President proposed – and Congress quickly enacted – an improved income-based repayment (IBR) plan, which allows student loan borrowers to cap their monthly payments at 15% of their discretionary income. …

Today we release a story regarding two smug looking illegal drug manufactures in Henderson last week that turned up 164 doses of heroin to be sold, in addition to 1.6 grams of crack cocaine.  Also during the last week, at the North Carolina State Fair, 12 people were arrested, not just 12 people but those 12 people were actually employees at the fair, mostly running midway games and sold concessions. This week, President Obama visited North Carolina yet again touting the American Jobs Act.  The same jobs act that has been recently denied.  Obama visited West Wilkes High School is in Millers Creek, North Carolina — a small town located about 60 miles west of Winston-Salem. Monday, The Wake County Board of Commissioners approved new restrictions for begging in public places Tuesday, requiring that panhandlers present a photo ID and obtain a permit.  The permits would be free and renewable each year. Chairman Paul Coble said the idea is to protect motorists and beggars at intersections.
