The Vance County Board of Education Policy Committee meeting that was scheduled for yesterday, January 19, 2011 has been rescheduled for Monday, January 24, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Administrative Services Center, 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.
School board holds two committee meetings today
The Vance County Board of Education’s Curriculum Committee will meet today, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The Policy Committee will meet afterward at 12:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Administrative Services Center, 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.

HPD to provide 200 firearm safety kits
The Henderson Police Department will provide 200 free firearm safety kits to local residents through a partnership with Project ChildSafe, the nationwide firearms safety education program.

Please leave your cart at the curb until collected.
