A group of students from Vance-Granville Community College recently received scholarships through the Golden LEAF Scholarship program for the North Carolina Community College System. NCDOT crew to close on-ramp as part of I-85 in Vance County improvement project
Raleigh-Beginning June 1, NCDOT contractors will close the I-85 South on-ramp from U.S. 158 Business at the North Garnett Street intersection. The ramp will remain closed until early 2016. On Friday, May 15, 2015, members of the Henderson Police Department Special Operations Unit arrested two individuals on heroin related charges. Christian Habud, 22, 3408 Quarry Road, Wake Forest, N.C. was charged with one count felonious maintaining a vehicle for keeping/selling a controlled substance.
