Vance County Board of Commissioners Revised Meeting Schedule on Budget and Called Meeting
Chairperson Brown has agreed to combine Thursday evening’s budget work session and Friday’s called meeting into one meeting on Friday, June 13. There will not be a budget session Thursday (June 12th 2014) evening. Consistent with the public notice sent out earlier today, the Board of Commissioners’ meeting will still be at 12:00 noon June 13th, 2014. At the conclusion of that official meeting, the Board will take a lunch break and then will continue its work on the budget.

An innovative approach recently helped 18 certified law enforcement officers to complete a two-year degree in Criminal Justice Technology in little more than one year.
