GE Aviation to Expand in North Carolina

Governor Pat McCrory and North Carolina Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced today (July 9) that GE Aviation, a global leader in jet engine and aircraft system production, will be expanding its manufacturing operations at four facilities in North Carolina. The project will create 242 new jobs and bring a capital investment of $195 million over the next five years. Schools Collect More than 123,000 Books for “Give Five – Read Five” Campaign

Students across the state will be reading new books at home this summer thanks to State Superintendent June Atkinson’s “Give Five – Read Five” campaign. Furniture Company to Create 220 Jobs in Harnett County

Governor Pat McCrory and N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker announced on June 27 that Rooms To Go will build a new warehouse, distribution center and retail showroom in Harnett County.
