NC Cooperative Extension Updates

Vance County is one of only a couple in the state that do not have a Voluntary Agricultural District (VAD) Program. Denver Global Products to create 450 jobs in Lincoln County

Governor Bev Perdue announced Oct. 15 that Denver Global Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Chongqing RATO Power Company Ltd., will establish its manufacturing, distribution and R & D facilities in Lincoln County. The project was made possible in part by a Job Development Investment Grant. Division of Aviation Awards $2.25 Million to Henderson-Oxford Airport for Runway, Lighting Projects

RALEIGH — As part of the N.C. Department of Transportation’s ongoing commitment to improving aviation in North Carolina, the N.C. Division of Aviation awarded $2.25 million in State Aid to Airports funds to Henderson-Oxford Airport in Oxford for two capital improvement projects.
