School board to hold called meeting March 30

To the editor: The Henderson hoodwink
Several years ago, residents who lived in the city of Henderson were excluded from voting in the county’s water bond referendum because they already have municipal water. This was a good decision on the part of county leaders, since a county water system will not impact city residents one way or the other.

The Henderson Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the following individuals: Cytrina Perry Cytrina Quinnilla Perry, 25, last known address 416 Harriett Street in Henderson. Perry is wanted for one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Charges in this matter stem from an incident at the Walmart store located at 1725 New Hope Church Road in Raleigh on December 15, 2010. …
Gov claims increase in NC tourist dollars
North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue announced this week that visitors to North Carolina spent a record $17 billion in 2010, an increase of 9 percent from 2009.
