I heard on the radio yesterday that BP was in the process of shutting down the oil well in the Gulf of Mexico that is currently leaking oil at a rate measured in thousands of gallons per day. This is probably an obvious question, but why were they shutting down a well that clearly has the capacity to produce a lot of oil? May smarter minds than mine puzzle this out on today’s open line.
