Downtown Henderson to receive $75,000 grant
Washington, D.C. -— U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington) today announced that the Henderson-Vance Downtown Development Commission, has been awarded a $75,000 grant through The American Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).

Council resolves to sell Southerland Mill Pond
According to City Manager Ray Griffin, former Henderson City Council member Robert Southerland filed a request to purchase the Southerland Mill Pond property for $43,000 several months ago.
