County resolves to support sewer line to KJC
The Vance County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to support he efforts of the Economic Development Commission to find state and federal funding to extend a sewer line down US1 South to the Kittrell Job Corps.

Board of ed. to hold budget meeting
The Vance County Board of Education will hold a budget meeting on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. prior to the regular board meeting. The meeting will be held in the Administrative Services Center break room located at 1724 Graham Avenue in Henderson. The purpose of the meeting is to review the preliminary 2009-2010 budget proposal.
