Police seize half-kilo of crack
A half-kilo of crack cocaine seized by Henderson police One-half kilogram of crack cocaine was seized by the Henderson Police Department after a warrant search of 238 Keene Avenue. No further information was made available.

City contracts for land acquistion
The City of Henderson entered into a contract with the Kerr-Tar Regional Council of Governments, the Kerr-Tar Economic Development Corporation, and Friends of Clean Up Henderson to administer a grant from the North Carolina Department of Commerce to acquire land for the city’s Orange/Breckenridge Street project.

Former city manager Williams considers lawsuit
According to a memorandum obtained from former City Council member Bobby Gupton, former City Manager Eric Williams is considering bringing suit against the City of Henderson for severance and benefits.
