Etheridge votes to clean up meth dangers
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge (D-Lillington), a member of the Congressional Meth Caucus, voted today for legislation that will help protect N.C. families and communities from the dangers of methamphetamine labs.
35 NC schools recognized as “super-safe”

FAIR Committee discusses tax rate
Finance and Intergovernmental Relations Committee Chair Lynn Harper introducted this portion of the meeting by indicating that there was no need for City Manager Jerry Moss to come up with a tax rate during budget development if the council had strong feeling regarding the tax rate.
William Hawkins honored by County resolution

Etheridge reacts to Bush’s Farm Bill proposal
