County plans corrective action for Golden Belt

Etheridge priorities to protect NC, rebuild Gulf Coast
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Rep. Bob Etheridge has announced a set of priorities to protect America and rebuild the Gulf Coast following a three-day tour of the region.
ABC reporting for K-8 delayed
Because of difficulties securing contracts for work that must be completed before the ABCs results can be determined, ABCs results for the K-8 schools will be released on or before November 15 rather than on October 5 as originally planned.
