Pick of the day:
Today we introduce a new feature at HomeinHenderson.com: the pick of the day. It’s just a quick reminder about an event we think is worth highlighting that day. Some days we won’t have a pick, but we’ll do our best. The staff of the city of Henderson will bid farewell to Planning Director Grace Smith during a reception from 3 to 5 p.m. in the council chambers at the Municipal Building. Dunk you very much
May and June are great months to live in Henderson because of the many Relay for Life fundraisers. But even amid the flurry of fish fries, carwashes, yard sales and flocking flamingos, the city of Henderson’s big fundraiser stands out because of one thing: the dunking booth.
