A light agenda awaits the Planning Board today in what will be Henderson Planning Director Erris Dunston’s first chance to work with the board. The board will hold one public hearing, on Robert and JoAnn Esquivel’s request for Salare Inc. to rezone a 6.29-acre tract at 88 Parham Spring Lane in the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction from R-15M (low-to-moderate-density residential with HUD code homes) to I-2 (industrial nonpark). And the board can introduce Dunston to the hubbub over the zoning ordinance and junkyards with a somewhat related proposal to amend the ordinance to allow towing services in the B-4, I-1, I-2 and I-3 zoning districts by special-use permit. The meeting starts at 3:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building on Beckford Drive.
