Agents of the Interagency Drug Enforcement Unit found and destroyed 35 marijuana plants during an eradication operation this week, Vance County Sheriff R. Thomas Breedlove and Henderson Police Chief Glen Allen announced Thursday. The plants were 5 to 8 feet tall and would have had an estimated street value of $75,000 at maturity.
