Rev. Dale arrested for domestic violence


The Reverend C.J. Dale was arrested recently on a domestic violence-related charge of misdemeanor assault on a female.

Dale was arrested on July 3, 2006 on a warrant issued on July 2.

Dale was released on $1,000 secured bond.

State statutes do not allow a magistrate to set bond on domestic violence assaults in the first 48 hours. However, a judge may set bond at any time, including the first 48 hours.

Dale’s court date is July 17, 2006 in North Carolina District Superior Court.
