Just a short letter to say thanks to the individuals who have given their time and energy for so many years to keep the Henderson Rec Players going.
It was a pleasure to see and hear Tommy and Jo Ellen Nowell at the last city council meeting speak about the latest production. Their tireless efforts over the years are one of the reasons the Henderson Rec Players continue to offer such wonderful fare.
I can remember the beginning of these productions under the efforts of Dwight Pearce in the 70’s, and I beleive Tommy was part of the original crew.(original Not Ready For Prime Time Players!) His work on stage, behind the scenes, as well as his musical gifts have been a part of the Henderson Rec Players for well over 30 years.
Thank you Tommy and Jo Ellen for giving our youth, adults, and the whole community the gift of your tireless efforts. You are a shining example of local, born and bred Hendersonians, who continue to work to make Henderson a better place to live.
