Once again, The Women’s League of Henderson will be sponsoring the Tree of Light.
This tree will be located in front of Maria Parham Hospital and will be lit tonight beginning at 7:00 p.m. The bulbs purchased for this tree recognize and remember our friends and loved ones that have been affected by cancer.
Bulbs can be purchased in honor or memory of a loved one. Each bulb costs $10.00. These contributions go to support the efforts of the Relay for Life and the Cancer Society. This is a tax-deductible contribution that supports a wonderful cause.
We all must continue to strive to find a cure for cancer. This terrible disease has touched many of us. We are asking for your help by purchasing a bulb for the tree.
You are also cordially invited to attend the tree lighting ceremony on November 30, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the hospital. Special music will be presented by Miss Stella Jones and the choir from Kerr Vance Academy. Come join us in lighting the night with hope for a new day.
