Cocaine, marijuana, firearms seized


Chief K.L. Sidwell and Sheriff Peter White report that three individuals were arrested by members of the Interagency Drug Enforcement Unit after two search warrants were executed.

Cocaine, marijuana, and four firearms were seized. The IDEU was assisted in the execution of the warrants by members of the Henderson Police Department’s SWAT team.

The first warrant was served at 440 Ford Street. There, Betty Person, 50, and David Lamond Person, 23, both of that address, were arrested for possession with intent to sell and deliver marijauna, manufacturing marijuana, and maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance. Their bond was set at $25,000 each with a court date of March 19 of this year.

The second warrant was served at 215 Carolina Avenue. Richard Perry, 26, of that address was arrested for trafficking cocaine by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and manufacturing cocaine. His court date is also March 19.
