City and county to meet in joint session tomorrow

A memorandum from County Clerk Kelly Grissom characterized a meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Bank of America on Garnett Street between the Henderson City Council and the Vance County Board of Commissioners as a joint session.

The memo listed the following topics that it said were proposed by the Henderson City Council:

Funding of joint programs

Tax collections

The status of the sale of the old library building, the Armory, and the Southern National (First National) Bank Building and the selection of an appraisal firm and real estate agent

Potential water sales to Vance County
