HPD makes B&E arrests


During the month of September 2007, a breaking and entering occurred at 1504 Maple Street, 1014 Elk Street, and 213 Gholson Avenue.

All of the above are Henderson addresses.

Taken from these locations were numerous items including jewelry, cellular telephones, mp3 players, laptop computers, and other items.

After an investigation by members of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Henderson Police Department, the individual listed below has been arrested and charged with one count of breaking and entering and larceny at each of the above locations:

James Anthony Smith, 26
1419 Maple Street
Henderson, NC
Bond: $80,000

Smith is being held in the Vance County Jail in lieu of bond.

Approximately $7,000 in items were recovered during the investigation.

An unrelated breaking and entering occurred on August 28, 2007 at 765 N. Garnett Street in Henderson. $300 in electronic equipment was taken. After an investigation, the subject listed below has been arrested and charged.

Quincey Fuller, 34
550 W. Andrews Avenue
Henderson, NC
Charges: Breaking and entering larceny, possession of stolen goods
Bond: $25,000

Fuller is being held in the Vance County Jail in lieu of bond. The stolen items have been recovered.
