HPD arrests and incidents


Arrests

– James Robinson, of 5510 Penrith Drive, Durham, was arrested at Wal-mart for larceny of $94.50 worth of various food items. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $300 secured bond.

– Lance Durwood Clark, of 799 Satterwhite Point Road, was arrested at Food Lion on Raleigh Road for misdemeanor larceny of a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 wine valued at $3.49. He was released on a $300 unsecured bond.

– Pakeda Durham, of 109 Mt. Pleasant Church road, Manson, was arrested for failing to appear in court. She was released on a $500 secured bond.

– Orrie Kurtell Williams, of 141 Cardinal Lane, was arrested for possession of scheduled VI (marijuana) controlled substance. He was written a citation and released.

– Devonjee Kesean Branch, of 521 Harriet Street, was arrested for communicating threats. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $500 secured bond. He also received a citation for possession of scheduled VI (marijuana) controlled substance.

– Larry Darnell Hicks, of 647 Arch Street, was arrested for two counts of failing to appear in court. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $2,925 secured bond.

– Torrey Rossell Kersey, of 458 Swain Drive, was arrested for two counts of failing to appear in court. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $21,400 secured bond.

– Latoya Michelle Jones, of 218 Gary Street, was arrested for driving on a revoked license and driving with an expired inspection sticker. She was also charged with failing to appear in court on a previous charge of driving while her license was revoked. She was released under a $300 unsecured bond.

– James Douglas Allen, Sr., of 252 Facet Road, was arrested at Food Lion on Raleigh Road for shoplifting two razor shaving heads valued at $9.99. He was confined to the Vance County Jail under a $500.00 secured bond.

– Steven Henderson, Jr., of 213 College Street, was arrested for second degree trespassing at Best Bet Store, 1225 E. Andrews Avenue. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond.

– Torrey Person, of 101 Kearney Street, was arrested for injury to real property. He was released under a $300 unsecured bond.

– Quiency Hester, of 199 Vandyke Road, Kittrell, was arrested for possession of marijuana and an open container. He was written a citation and released.

– Milton Clark, of 805 Flint Street, was arrested for three counts of failing to appear for the following charges: carrying a concealed weapon, breaking and entering, and public consumption. He was confined in the Vance County Jail under a $1,700 secured bond.

– Rosa Weaver, of Lot 57, Chester Lane, was arrested on a fugitive warrant/probation violation. She was confined in the Vance County Jail under no bond.

Other Incident Reports

March 20, 2008

– Carlos Wilkerson reported a hit and run causing damage to the right rear of his vehicle while it was located at Hardees.

– Bruce Stone reported that someone took $420 in cash from his locker while at the YMCA on Ruin Creek Road.

– Valerie Daniel reported that someone forced the lock on her self-storage unit on Cooper Drive. The following items were stolen: a sofa ($350), love seat ($300), ottoman ($145), two end tables ($140), cocktail table ($85), two lamps ($40), chair ($240), and a vacuum cleaner ($50).

March 21, 2008

– Amos Parrott reported that someone entered his vehicle, but did not take anything.

– Pauline Henderson reported that someone took $50 worth of plants from her property on Parham Street.

– Mary Finch reported that someone took $15 worth of plants from her yard.

– Garry Madden of Citi Financial, reported that he received a counterfeit $20 bill.

– Jimmy Hedgepeth of Supply Line, reported that someone stole $15 worth of ribeye steaks.
