Once again, Home in Henderson is soliciting questions for the 2008 Candidates’ Forum to be held on October 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the County Administration Building on Young Street in Henderson.
Questions should be specific to a particular race (e.g. county commissioner, judge, etc.). Also, questions should be general enough to be addressed to either candidate. Questions that impugn or attack specific candidates will not be considered. HiH reserves the right to dismiss, combine, or re-write the questions as it sees fit.
The questions will be submitted to representatives of the forum’s sponsors, each of whom will also generate and submit questions. The representatives of the forum’s sponsors will then select questions by consensus.
HiH guarantees confidentiality to any and all who chose to submit questions.
Please make your submission to forum2008@homeinhenderson.com no later than October 10, 2008.
Although some readers may choose to post their questions in the conversational thread below, please be aware that the candidates may read HiH and see the questions in advance of the forum. It is therefore recommended that questions be emailed rather than posted as comments.
