Armed Robbery

On November 20, 2008, at about 9:30 p.m. officers of the Henderson Police Department responded to the Subway restaurant located at 1520 Dabney Drive in reference to an armed robbery.

Police were informed that an African-American male armed with a gun with a green bandanna over his face robbed the store.

The subject was described as being five feed ten inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a black flight jacket, a white shirt, and faded blue jeans.

The subject left the store on foot running toward the old Winn Dixie with an undetermined amount of money.

Armed Robbery

On December 8, 2008, at about 2:40 p.m., the Henderson Police Department received a call regarding an armed robbery that had just occurred at the RBC Centura Bank at 1207 Dabney Drive.

According to witnesses, an African-American male armed with a handgun came into the bank and demanded money from two tellers. The suspect took an undetermined amount of money. He was wearing a black mask with a hooded sweat shirt, grey sweat pants, and black tennis shoes.

The subject left the bank in a green Honda Civic. The vehicle was later found abandoned on Oakdale Circle. The vehicle was stolen from Durham, North Carolina.
