At last week’s board meeting, members approved select high schools to participate in the American Diploma Project Algebra II exam, funding formula options for the North Carolina Virtual Public School for submission to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee, the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children, and the renewal of charters for schools whose charters expire in June.
Board members discussed revisions to the K-2 Literacy Assessment, North Carolina’s Annual Performance Report for Students with Disabilities and the 2007-08 Dropout Data Report.
