The Vance County Relay for Life has registered with Food Lion’s MVP program to have a portion of your grocery bill donated to the Vance event.
Every time you use your MVP card at Food Lion, a portion of the money will go to the Vance Relay.
To participate, go to the MVP web site and click on “Find Organization”. On the pull-down menus that appear in the pop-up window that will follow, select “NC” for state, “Henderson” for city, and “American Cancer Society RFL Vance Co” for organization.
Food Lion will send the Vance Relay a check of up to $350 per quarter. Every little bit helps! Tell are your friends to register there. The first quarter ends March 31, 2009. Let us all work on hitting the $350 mark in the first quarter.
