The Henderson City Council voted during its regular short session meeting last night to lower the annual license fee for adult businesses from $1,500 to $800.

Governor Perdue released her proposed budget for 2009-2011 this week and as expected made many deep cuts.
At time of posting, I’m here at the Ambassador Inn & Suites in Henderson at the VCAE Breakfast. The turnout looks pretty good as Vance County educators meet, greet, and eat and prepare to discuss issues of great concern to both teachers and students.
