On April 1, 2009, at 11:40 p.m., a common law robbery occurred at the Wal-Mart parking lot located at 200 N. Cooper Drive.
The victim, Dominica Davis, stated she approached her car after leaving the business and she was approached from behind, knocked to the ground, struck in the head, and her purse was taken.
After receiving a description of a vehicle and the suspects from witnesses, a vehicle was stopped by officers on Ruin Creek Road and two individuals were detained.
Members of the Criminal Investigations Division were contacted and, after an investigation into this incident, the two individuals listed below were arrested and charged.

Both suspects were charged with common law robbery. Their bond was set at $20,000 each with a court date of April 21, 2009.
