E.M. Rollins Elementary School FOR/PTA
The Friends of Rollins PTA will be holding a Fall Festival on Friday, October 9 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The purpose of this event is to raise money for the PTA to enable us to fill needs in our classrooms that budgets don’t cover. Additionally, this is a great opportunity for us to reach out to our parents and families.
The festival will be held indoors at Rollins using the main hall and classrooms. Since it will be held indoors, the event will take place rain or shine.
Several community agencies plan join us in an extra effort to reach out to our families. We will have all types of games, such as adult and child bingo, pick-a-pumpkin, a basketball throw, and so on. One lucky teacher will be duct-taped to a wall to support the effort. From 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., the children will have the opportunity to throw plates of shaving cream at Principal Dean Thomas. Of couse, no festival would be complete without hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. This will be a very exciting, fun-filled family evening.
In order to make this event a success, we need help. Any donation, no matter how large or small would be appreciated. Our needs include: two-liter soft drinks, ketchup, mustard, onions, individually wrapped snack cakes, and napkins. A monetary donation to purchase these would also help.
