Arrest made for Pearl St. B&E


On March 26, 2010 around 9:20 a.m., officers with the Henderson Police Department received a report that two subjects, one wearing a red shirt, and one wearing a black shirt, had attempted to break into the residence of 325 Pearl Street.

The residence was occupied at the time of the attempt.

The suspects were reported to have left on foot and were last seen in the Young Avenue area.

Officers from the Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions saturated the area in an attempt to locate the suspects. A detective made contact with the two subjects, who then fled on foot. Officers in the area were able to apprehend the suspects between Burwell Avenue and Young Avenue.

The suspects, Jeremiah Miller, 22, of 562 Spring Street and Antonio Miller, 16, of 118 North Street, both in Henderson, North Carolina were arrested and charged with attempted breaking and entering to a residence. Jeremiah Miller was also charged with possession of burglary tools.

Jeremiah Miller received a $20,000 secured bond, and Antonio Miller received a $10,000 secured bond. Both subjects remain in the Vance County Jail pending an initial court appearance on April 20, 2010.
