HPD makes arrest for attempted kidnapping
On May 1, 2010 at 1:38 p.m., members of the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to 615 Raleigh Road in reference to a kidnapping and an assault that had occurred.
RFL kickball tournament May 29

County merges Kerr Lake and Vance fire depts.
The Vance County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously yesterday during their regular monthly meeting to merge the Kerr Lake Volunteer Fire Department (KLVFD) with the Vance County Fire Department (VCFD).
County commission approves EDC strategic plan
The Vance County Board of Commissioners approved the Henderson-Vance Economic Development Commission’s Strategic Plan during its regular monthly meeting on Monday evening as it was originally presented to the board on March 1, 2010.
