Homicide Case

On September 26, 2010 at approximately 3:04 a.m. officers with the Henderson Police Department’s Patrol Division respond to a call regarding shots fired in the area of Arch Street and Chavasse Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina.

Upon arrival by police, the victim was found lying face down on on the side of the roadway suffering from injuries related to a gunshot wound.

The victim was identified as Corey Bullock, 27 of Henderson, North Carolina. Bullock was transported by Vance County EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Shortly after arrival at the hospital, Bullock was pronounced dead.

Larceny Case

On September 6, 2010 around 1:00 p.m. the Henderson Police Department received a report of a larceny of a Trane air conditioning unit. The unit was taken from Beyond Fantasy on the US 158 bypass. The unit was valued at $5,000.

The police have no suspects at this time.
