Attempted murder-suicide shooting at ACS
A shooting occurred this morning at ACS, 120 158 Bypass in Henderson, North Carolina. WRAL is reporting that Marcus Antwan Hammie shot Shandria Shaw several times outside of ACS early this morning. He then fatally shot himself. Shaw was flown to the Duke University Medical Center. There is no report on her condition.

It was about 25 years ago, and my mother was just about the same age as I am now. She came out of B.M. Newman’s Grocery on Breckenridge Street and was knocked down by a young man who grabbed her purse and broke the strap off her shoulder as she carried her groceries.
