Traffics stops lead to drug arrests


On March 7, 2011 around 3:59 p.m. vice/narcotics officers with the Henderson Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Warrenton Road.

During the stop, 8.4 grams of crack cocaine and 13.8 grams of marijuana were located.

The driver, Quincy Gregory, 26, of 1465 Newton Dairy Road, Lot 6 in Henderson was arrested and charged with felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Gregory received a $15,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on March 21, 2011.

On March 7, 2011 around 7:31 p.m. vice/narcotics officers with the Henderson Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Hamilton Street. During the stop, 23 grams of cocaine were located. Corey Eugene Damarr, 29, of 1132 Full Moon Road in Creedmoor, North Carolina was arrested and charged with felony possession with the intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver Schedule II controlled substance. Quincy Lamont Perry, 28, of 35 Saint Andrews Church Road in Henderson was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. Damarr received a $30,000 secured bond and Perry received a $23,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on March 21, 2011.
