A Public Hearing on the City of Henderson’s proposed Budget for the Fiscal Year 2011-201, beginning July 1, 2011, will be held in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 134 Rose Avenue, Henderson, NC, on Monday May 23, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. Changes may occur at the Public Hearing from the revenue and expenditure estimates which might also include changes in the proposed tax rate and other revenue sources such as water, sewer and sanitation charges, as well as other City fees of a miscellaneous nature. The public is reminded that the proposed budget may change following final action(s) by the City Council.
At the time of the Public Hearing, all interested citizens shall have the right and reasonable opportunity to provide either written and/or oral comments concerning the proposed budget and ask questions regarding the entire budget, or any component of the City’s fiscal plan for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2011.
