Motor Vehicle B&E Arrest

On August 9, 2011 around 6:23 AM officers with the Henderson Police Department responded to the Scottish Inns, 1759 N. Garnett Street, Henderson in reference to a breaking and entering to a motor vehicle that had just occurred. Officers gained a description of the suspect and of the suspect vehicle. Officers located the suspect vehicle, a brown Chevrolet truck, leaving the area on N. Chestnut Street, Henderson. A traffic stop was conducted and the passenger was identified as the suspect in the breaking and entering.

Upon further investigation, officers located the stolen items under some bushes near an area hotel. Items recovered were a power steering tool kit, a flaring tool, a front end service set, a crankshaft installer set, a drill, circular saw and a reciprocating saw. Items belonged to Continental Land Development of Culpepper, Virginia and were valued at $830.00

Officers continued their investigation and searched room 133 at the Kerr Lake Inn, 200 Parham Road, Henderson. During the search of the room, drug paraphernalia was located

Charlie Hudson of 101 Cricket Creek Lane, Kittrell was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christie Jackson, 38, of 101 Cricket Creek Lane, Kittrell was arrested and charged with simple possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. She was given a $1,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on September 6, 2011.

Michael Norwood, 28, of 544 Bobbitt Road, Kittrell was arrested and charged with felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. He was given a $5,000 secured bond pending a court hearing on September 6, 2011.
