To respond to the lame guy in left field, I was not looking for parental guidance for my child. I was asking the community how can we stop the Henderson Gangbangers from ruining our communities. These are the same guy who made the video about Henderson from last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKi9ejXwxzk Now a year later these same guys are still terrorizing our communities and making new gang videos
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW3dD1u4akA and the Police have yet to do anything about it. I’m just frustrated that I have to raise a child with this mess in our neighborhoods. These same people in this video are who our children are going to school with.
Why do you keep posting links to that trash?
what can the police do about it?
the community needs to address it if you are really concerned…and posting free publicity doesn’t show concern., it shows approval…
What exactly do you think the police can do about that, CindyWiggins? It is your job to keep your child from that which you consider inappropriate. I do think it is a good thing that you are talking about it though — more needs to be said. More people need to ‘judge.’ It’s time for the OVERLY liberal mindset to be pushed aside. Heros should be law enforcement, firefighters, doctors, nurses, scientists, astronauts — people that are doing GOOD for the world — not the trash that our kids look up to nowadays.
There are several factors which contribute to the gangs and crime here in Henderson. Take a look at Friday’s Dispatch. Some people want to convert the old Eaton Johnson Middle School into low-income housing.
We do not need any more low-income housing. That would only make the landlords richer and be a drawing card for unproductive young people. The truly worthy people who have worked all their lives but need to scale down wouldn’t be eligible. Something about this should ring true to the council members and they should say “NO” to more low income housing. Just my opinion!
Hope the weather holds for the Ducky Derby tomorrow. I plan to be there, rain or shine!
Isn’t that the truth Prudence…I read that in the Dispatch and couldn’t help but laugh. The LAST thing Henderson needs is more low income housing. The ‘powers that be’ really do want to put a nail in the coffin of Henderson — don’t they?
