Vance County Schools – Summer Enrichment Camp


Vance County Schools is now enrolling children in its Funtastic Kids Club Summer Enrichment Program to be held June 18-August 10 at Zeb Vance Elementary School.

Children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade may participate in the summer program.

The program will operate each weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The summer “camp” is led by a professional, caring staff and offers age appropriate activities in arts and crafts, blocks and construction, cultural awareness, drama, theater, sports, gardening, nature studies, music, nutrition and more. Camp participants take weekly field trips and go to the indoor pool at the Aycock Recreation Complex once a week for swimming.

“Early Bird” registration is being held now through May 18, at a cost of $15 for the first 30 participants. After May 18, registration will be $25. The cost of the camp is $100 per week per child.
