BTW, Wednesday President Obama officially announced his support of gay marriages and candidate Mitt Romney announces his support of man / woman marriages. All of you can dislike my comment all you want but the results are the same, the people spoke. No matter how you put it, it stands. The people were informed and many false statements were made against the amendment that were totally untrue. I read it and I had NO problem understanding it. I was a single dad once and I still had insurance on my children, you can to. There are state laws in place and always have been that cover us all against abuse and harm, no argument there either. The only argument that is valid is the one where you have against the will of GOD. I believe in the will of GOD and will try to follow it the best I can. Old Testament, New Testament, it’s in both so I will take my shot at pleasing GOD that way. You believe as you wish and I will believe as I wish. Don’t make me think any thing less of you. Can you say that?
On another topic…
I am looking for someone who knows about towing large campers. We have a 35′ camper we just brought and we need it moved from Roxboro to Norlina (about 56 miles). It’s a king pin hitch so I would need someone with a regular fifth wheel jack. I really can’t pay an arm and a leg but I would pay for gas and some extra. I would be moving it sometime on Saturday. Mudball, you are correct the people have spoken and the State lost. The religiously right have said, those who do not believe as we get out of our town and state. The peoples’ voice have been heard and will be heeded. Do not expect Vance County or North Carolina to grow with technology, manufacturing, and service companies most of them are tolerant of the differences among people. Overtime discrimination in all its forms is unmasked and seen for what it is. Mudball today is your day to crow; tomorrow you will rue yesterday’s action.
