Organizing for America (OFA) in Vance County, the grassroots movement for President Obama’s Reelection campaign is in full swing for the upcoming November election. Organizing for America will be having numerous activities during the upcoming election season.
Organizing for America in Vance County is launching its first ever ‘Presidential Potluck’ gathering this Friday, July 20th, 2012 at 6:30 PM at the Vance County Democratic Headquarters, 219 South Garnett Street, Henderson, NC 27536. The event will consist of two dynamic guest speakers as well as a reception of food and drinks for all attendees. Our goal is to meet, greet, eat and have a great Democratic evening filled with inspirational stories, great food, and fun entertainment!!!
Also, Organizing for America will be hosting volunteers for phone banks every Monday through Friday from 6 PM -9PM at various locations. Weekly Voter Registration Drives will be staged out of the Vance County Democratic Headquarters on Saturdays & Sundays which will include Saturday shifts at 10, 12, and 2 and Sunday shifts from 2 PM– 6PM. Saturdays are our Day of Action.
We also need other volunteers to help the campaign by performing additional activities in the campaign office such as a manning the office as receptionists, inputting data from phone banks and voter registration.
