FORESTRY TOUR
Last call for the Forestry Tour to be held next Thursday, 11/8. Please meet at the Warren County Extension Center around 8:45 for a 9 am departure. We will be touring the International Paper mill in Ridgeway, then making a field stop to learn about reforestation methods. Please register by Monday if you have not already done so.

TOBACCO PRODUCTION UPDATE/GAPS TRAINING
Please note that the 2013 tobacco farmer meeting will include the new GAP curriculum that all companies are requiring. The meeting is scheduled for Jan 4, 9:30 am to 3 pm in Louisburg. Area farmers should register early to reserve your spot and avoid having to travel to a more distant training location. Farmers will be notified of all the meetings across the state in case of a date conflict.
