Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Henderson City Council on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers in City Hall located at 134 Rose Avenue in Henderson, North Carolina. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment on:
Public Hearing: Recommendation to rezone properties from R20 (Low Density Residential) to R6 (High Density Residential) zoning districts in the Julia Avenue/Francis Avenue area.
Public Hearing: Recommendation to amend Section 619B.3 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow Mental Health Counseling as a home occupation in the R15 (Moderate to Low Density Residential) zoning district by a Special Use Permit.
Persons interested are invited to attend and present their arguments relative to the proposed amendments, etc. as a result of the public hearings, substantial changes might be made in the proposals herein advertised reflecting objective, debate and discussion at the public hearings.
