A total of 61 students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses at Northern Vance and Southern Vance high schools were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society during a special ceremony held in the gymnasium at Northern Vance High School on May 21.
Each student was presented a certificate and honor society lapel pin by the teacher for their CTE area.

The inductees and current members of the National Technical Honor Society chapters at both high schools also recited the NTHS Pledge, which reads, “As a member of the National Technical Honor Society, I pledge to maintain the highest standard of personal conduct. I will apply myself to continue a record of scholastic achievement and I will strive for excellence in all aspects of my education. I will invest my talents, my skills and my knowledge in a career of my own choosing and shall always endeavor to uphold my obligations as a citizen of my community and my country.”
